PAUL'S TEACHING TO THE CHURCHES - WELCOME
In Paul's letters we find a love and concern for the early Christians. He wrote according to each congregation's needs. In addressing those needs, which often were varied, he maintans consistency of Doctrine. He has no conflict with himself. He does not show preferential treatment. He points out error when necessary, but freely notes things that are praiseworth. His great concern for the problems of each is obvious.
Paul had great expectations that each group would be ready for Christ. In this great expectation, he exhorts, chastens, encourages, implores, weeps, and prays in his great love for those who seek to serve Jesus, the Christ.
If you wonder why Colossians was chosen as the basis for this study, the answer is simple. Colossians was where we were when this study began. These lessons are about 25 years old so the originals are having to be redone just a little. Most of the questions are "Multiple Choice." I have changed my beliefs about some scriptures and have made appropriate changes. As in all of these studies, each is expected to prove their answers from the scriptures. May God bless our studies as we seek His truth.
